Wedding Cakes

Wedding cakes are one of the most fun and delicious parts of any wedding. In general, wedding cakes have various layers can range from modestly decorated to extravagant. Wedding cakes go all the way back to the time of the Romans. Just like a bride’s dress, the cake was traditionally white to represent purity, cutting the cake is an act of solidarity between the couple and feeding each other the first bite shows is an example of the bride and the groom’s commitment to each other.

Today, wedding cakes have become incredibly large and ornate. You can find or make pretty much any wedding cake that you want. Wedding cakes vary depending on what you want. Cakes average between three and five layers and generally are made out of vanilla, chocolate or carrot cake. Red velvet has increasingly become more popular.

Some people like to choose animals, others chose the bride and the groom in funny positions (for example, the bride pulling the groom (who is on his hands and knees) by a leash.
